Who's Who

Check out this page to learn more about the students/recent grads who will be in Mali this August.  Some are there now, and some will be coming late!  Stay tuned to learn more since as of now I have only what I can gather from their facebook activity. 

Sophie Shackleton	Sophie Shackleton Graduated in '09 and came to Mali with Michelle on last year's trip.  Since, she's been working with Michelle and Seydou to help grow and expand the program.  She has been in Bamako since April, working for a local NGO - finding employment for young Malians - as well as helping at Yeredon.  She currently has no return ticket to the US.  Check out her blog
Rob Warner	Rob Warner took Mande this past year and fell in love with West African dance.  He is an Environmental Studies concentrator, set to graduate in 2011 after taking some time off and deciding to write a thesis, hoping to get some divine inspiration while in Mali.  This will be his first visit to Africa and he is very excited, and would like to thank his god-parents, Susan Kennedy and Bill Buffet, without whom this trip would not be possible.
Navarra Buxton   (Right)	Navarra is class of 2013 at Brown University and was in the Kouyate family with Rob this past spring.  She enjoys dancing and according to her Facebook profile is married to Lisa Hersh.  How progressive!
Jessica Goldschmidt	Jessica Goldschmidt is a time traveler from the 80s.
Sophia Roy	Sophia Roy recently graduated Brown and was in New Works and Fusion Dance Company.  She will clearly outshine us all.
Matthew Garza	Matthew Garza is class of 2011 and is a member of New Works and the Brown Derbies.  His life long ambition is to unite the children of the world and take a picture of all of them holding hands like this: However, he will settle for being a Jonas Brother
Danica Rosen	Danica Rosen is a pirate.
Sam Yambrovich	Sam Yambrovich is a 2 year old with a son.
